The SGL70-I Softgel Double-Layer Dehumidifying Tumble Dryer is a specialized supporting equipment developed based on market demand and extensive experience in softgel drying. This machine provides both dehumidifying and drying functions, resulting in shorter drying times, superior surface quality, and more aesthetically pleasing softgels.

Key Features

Dehumidifying Function - Controls minimum humidity inside the tumble dryer below 8%, significantly reducing drying time. The refrigeration unit maintains controllable temperatures throughout the drying chamber, accommodating different softgel types. High-volume fans substantially increase air circulation within the rotating drum.
GMP-Compliant Materials - All covers and softgel-contact parts are constructed from stainless steel materials that meet GMP requirements.

Operation Process

Softgels from the encapsulation machine enter the first dryer section via a high-pressure blow-off system. After reaching preset residence time, they progress sequentially through subsequent sections. Temperature and humidity in each drum section are controlled by a chilled water tank and dehumidifier. Two centrifugal fans per section, combined with the dehumidifier fan, create an air circulation system that effectively removes moisture from softgel shells. The control system offers both automatic and manual modes with adjustable key parameters.
